I love the Belle Isle Aquarium---i think it is very important to be saved--for the fish and the people of Detroit and surounding areas. Does the Joyce Foundation-or other foundations--give grants to Belle Isle? What about Wayne State or other Universities with Fisheries programs? Isn't there an office of Historic Preservation in Michigan? The city of Detroit has its financial woes (including Kwame's wife's classy chassis bankrolled by taxpayers) Can the state buy it out or run it jointly with the city. Where are Sen. Stabenow & Levin? To lose this historic treasure would be a loss for the entire nation. ~concerned in NY |
